It’s Time to Fly | United Airlines

Hired by ad agency BDM, we created a 60-second animated commercial for United’s “It’s Time to Fly” campaign, which promoted the airline’s new offering, Business Class flatbed seating. Working under the camera and using Plasticine on a backlit surface, images were animated frame by frame by removing clay to let light through. The effect is surreal and celestial, transporting the viewer into the sky.
